PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lawn mower capable of readily and surely housing an extension cord during housing and transporting, setting the extension cord at a length suitable for the operation range for use, and thereby improving operation efficiency.
SOLUTION: The lawn mower 1 is equipped with a motor driven with electric power supplied from a power source through a power source cord 19, a body 2 housing the motor and a rotating blade rotated and driven therewith, and a handle 4 extending from the body 2. In the lawn mower, a holding member (housing means) 21 for housing the power source cord 19 is installed in the handle 4. The holding member 21 houses the extension cord 19B of the power source cord 19. The holding member 21 serves also as a holding member for holding the positional relationship of the body 2 with the handle 4 during the housing or the transporting of the body 2.
