According to an embodiment of the present invention, a smart pot-based indoor air quality information providing apparatus, in which an apparatus for monitoring indoor air quality is detachably coupled to a pot, comprises: a plurality of smart pots sensing indoor air quality of a specific indoor space to generate sensing data； and a control server generating indoor air quality information for each location of a terminal based on sensing data generated by one of the smart pots and location information of the terminal located in the indoor space to provide the indoor air quality information to the terminal. Each of the smart pots includes: a pot in which a plant is planted； a sensor station detachably coupled to the lower surface of the pot to support the pot and including one or more sensors to sense the indoor air quality； and a positioning device detachably coupled to the lower surface of the sensor station and outputting a transmission signal to confirm the position of the terminal.실내 공기질 모니터링을 위한 장치가 화분에 탈착 가능하게 결합된 본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 스마트 화분 기반의 실내 공기질 정보 제공 장치는, 특정 실내 공간의 실내 공기질을 센싱하여 센싱 데이터를 생성하는 복수개의 스마트 화분； 및 상기 복수개의 스마트 화분 중 어느 하나에 의해 생성된 센싱 데이터 및 상기 실내 공간에 위치하는 단말기의 위치정보를 기초로 상기 단말기의 위치별 실내 공기질 정보를 생성하여 상기 단말기로 제공하는 제어서버를 포함하고, 상기 복수개의 스마트 화분은, 식물이 식재되는 화분； 상기 화분의 하면에 탈착 가능하게 결합되어 상기 화분을 지지하고, 상기 실내 공기질을 센싱하기 위한 하나 이상의 센서들로 구성된 센서 스테이션； 및 상기 센서 스테이션의 하면에 탈착 가능하게 결합되고, 상기 단말기의 위치확인을 위한 송출신호를 출력하는 측위장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
