PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an orthodontic ligature tool simultaneously performing both holding of an arch wire and closing of spaces between teeth.SOLUTION: This orthodontic ligature tool 20 includes lid plates 21(1), 21(2) connected through a connection plate 22(1), and the arch wire 10 is held inside arch wire slots 4 of respective orthodontic brackets 1(1), 1(2) by the respective lid plates. The respective lid plates 21 are latched to tie wings 5, 6 of the orthodontic brackets 1(1), 1(2), and are installed to the respective orthodontic brackets in a state where movement in the length direction thereof is restricted. When the interval between the orthodontic brackets is wide and when it is necessary to close up the interval between the teeth 31, 32, the connection plate 22 connecting the lid plates 21 is bridged between the orthodontic brackets in a state where the connection plate 22 is elongated in the length direction thereof.
