PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stably suppliable hepatitis B virus-infected model human hepatocyte reproducing HBV infection in a human living body.SOLUTION: The hepatitis B virus-infected model cell is obtained by a method including: a first step of producing a chimera non-human animal by transplanting human hepatocytes to a non-human animal with an immunodeficient hepatopathy a second step of separating human hepatocytes grown in the body of the chimera non-human animal and a third step of infecting the separated human hepatocytes with the HBV.
