PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroponic device in which growth problems, such as root rot, are hard to occur, and by which a plant can be easily grown at home.SOLUTION: A hydroponic device 10 comprises a container 11 capable of storing culture solution L, a plant holding plate 31 mounted on an upper portion of the container, and a circulation pump 51 which pumps up culture solution in the container to supply the solution onto the plant holding plate. A plurality of through holes 37 for holding plants, a reserving recess 39 which keeps the culture solution supplied by the circulation pump, and culture solution distributing grooves 41 which allow the reserving recess 39 to communicate with the plurality of through holes 37 for holding plants are provided on the top surface of the plant holding plate. The culture solution, which is supplied from the reserving recess 39 of the plant holding plate to the plurality of through holes 37 for holding plants via the culture solution distributing grooves 41, passes through the through holes 37 for holding plants and flows downward while touching plant roots, and is collected by the container 11.【課題】根腐れ等の生育障害を生じにくく、かつ家庭での植物栽培が容易な水耕栽培装置の提供を目的とする。【解決手段】培養液Ｌを収容可能な容器１１と、容器の上部に載置される植物保持プレート３１と、容器内の培養液を汲み上げて植物保持プレート上に供給する循環ポンプ５１とで水耕栽培装置１０を構成し、植物保持プレートの上面には複数の植物保持用貫通孔３７と、循環ポンプによって供給された培養液を溜める滞留用凹部３９と、滞留用凹部３９と複数の植物保持用貫通孔３７を通じる培養液分配用溝４１とを設け、植物保持プレートの滞留用凹部３９から培養液分配用溝４１を通って複数の植物保持用貫通孔３７に供給された培養液が、植物保持用貫通孔３７を通って植物の根に触れながら下方へ流れ、容器１１に回収されるようにした。【選択図】図４
