This absorbent article has a vertical direction, a horizontal direction and a thickness direction which are perpendicular to one another, and has a ventral-side outer member positioned in the horizontal direction and a dorsal-side outer member positioned in the horizontal direction. Therein: the ventral-side outer member and the dorsal-side outer member are each equipped with a non-skin-side sheet on the non-skin side thereof and a skin-side sheet on the skin side thereof； the ventral-side outer member and/or the dorsal-side outer member have a plurality of slits extending for a prescribed length in the horizontal direction and provided in the non-skin-side sheet or the skin-side sheet； the plurality of slits are provided in the horizontal and vertical directions at prescribed intervals from one another； a plurality of rubber threads are provided in the horizontal direction between the non-skin-side sheet and the skin-side sheet； one of the slits is provided between one of the rubber threads and another rubber thread that are adjacent to one another in the vertical direction； and the distance between the one slit and the one rubber thread is different than the distance between the one slit and the other rubber thread.L'invention concerne un article absorbant dont des éléments élastiques agissant sur des fentes de celui-ci amène chacune des fentes à s'ouvrir en permanence, pendant que l'article est porté.
