Disclosed is a method for displaying an ultrasound image to detect the number of shadow patterns of an ultrasound image which are repeatedly generated and disappear at a high speed and display the same to allow a user to easily recognize the number of shadow patterns required for diagnosing a disease of a target. The method for displaying an ultrasound image comprises detecting shadow patterns for determining an internal state of a target displayed on an ultrasound image, determining the number of detected shadow patterns, and displaying the determined number of shadow patterns.초음파 영상을 디스플레이하고, 초음파 영상에 표시된 대상체 내부의 상태를 결정하기 위한 음영 패턴을 검출하고, 검출된 음영 패턴의 개수를 결정하고, 결정된 음영 패턴의 개수를 디스플레이하는 것을 특징으로 하는 초음파 영상 디스플레이 방법이 개시된다.
