PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray computed tomography apparatus capable of minimizing a necessary installation area for installing the X-ray computed tomography apparatus.SOLUTION: The X-ray computed tomography apparatus according to the present invention comprises a cradle body, a first pedestal, and a subject support section. The cradle body includes at least an X-ray tube for generating X ray, an X-ray detector for detecting the X ray transmitting through a subject, and a rotation mechanism that supports the X-ray tube along with the X-ray detector rotatably around a periphery of the subject, with a rotation axis used as a center. The first pedestal fixes the cradle body to a floor face such that the rotation axis crosses with the floor face at a prescribed angle less than 90°.
