The present invention relates to a composition having anti-coccidium activities which includes extract of magnolia officinalis. Technical characteristics of the present invention comprises: reducing coccidium oocyst and helping normal growth when the composition is administered into an entity which is infected by the coccidium. In addition, the composition has 86% or higher of cell survival rate when 100-200 uM concentration of the magnolia officinalis extract is applied based on 1x106 cells/ml of cell density. Also, if the composition is administered into the entity for long time and dose of the magnolia officinalis extract becomes 400mg/kg/day, cytotoxicity is not expressed.
