PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save space for housing and keeping a laryngoscope and to improve the portability of the laryngoscope.
SOLUTION: The laryngoscope is provided with a columnar handle 10 which can be gripped and a blade 20 connected to the handle 10, and the blade 20 is inserted from a distal end part 21 into the larynx. The laryngoscope is provided with a turning shaft 50 for freely turnably connecting one end part of the handle 10 and the root part 22 of the blade 20 together and a turning blocking means for blocking the turning of the blade 20 to the handle 10 when an angle formed by the handle 10 and the blade 20 is a prescribed angle exceeding zero degree.
