PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope packaging apparatus for automatically packaging an endoscope in a packaging bag having a size proper according to the size of the endoscope.
SOLUTION: The endoscope packaging apparatus 22 is constituted of a housing part forming sealer 61, a sheet material supply part 62, a data acquiring part 67, a length discrimination part 68, and the like. The data acquiring part 67 refers to the ID of the endoscope 12 acquired from a reprocessor 78 to a database 82 to acquire the kind data 81 such as the length or the like of the endoscope 12. The length discrimination part 68 discriminates the length of the endoscope 12 to be packaged from the kind data 81 acquired by the data acquiring part 67. The sheet material supply part 62 sends out a sheet material 31 preformed into a cylindrical shape according to the length of the endoscope 12 discriminated by the length discrimination part 68 to cut off the sheet material 31a having a proper size. The housing part forming sealer 61 moves a second sealer 58 along the sheet material 31a according to the length of the endoscope 12 to hermetically seal and house the endoscope 12 in a housing part having a proper size.
