The first coding feature (2, 2a, 2b) is designed such that the syringe (1) is only mountable in an auto-injector device (6) having a second coding feature (7, 7a, 7b) mating the first coding feature (2, 2a, 2b). Furthermore, an auto-injector device (6) having a housing (60), wherein a syringe (1) can be mounted,and a set of at least two auto-injector devices (6) and syringes (1) are provided.
