PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flour composition for use as food material which can efficiently absorb alkylresorcinol.SOLUTION: The flour composition includes a mixture of fine particle fraction of a classified and collected ground product of cereal raw material and a fat in an amount of 1 to 100 mass% relative to the powder in the fine particle fraction. The fat is preferably at least one selected from the group consisting of saturated aliphatic acid, unsaturated aliphatic acid, monoacylglycerol, diacylglycerol, triacylglycerol, phospholipid, and vegetable oil. The ground product of cereal raw material is preferably whole wheat flour or wheat bran.
