PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly ocular fundus photographing apparatus which performs observation and photographing with a single image pick-up device.SOLUTION: An ocular fundus photographing apparatus for photographing ocular fundus of a subjects eye includes: an ocular fundus observation/imaging optical system having a focusing lens movable in an optical axis direction, and a first image pick-up device having sensitivity to both visible and infrared regions, which acquires both an ocular fundus observation image by light of a first wavelength and a photographed image of the ocular fundus by light of a second wavelength different from the first wavelength by the first image pick-up device focus detection means for detecting a focus state of the ocular fundus of the subjects eye with respect to the first image pick-up device using a signal output from the first image pick-up device when the ocular fundus is observed by the light of the first wavelength and an anterior eye part observation optical system in which an optical path branch member that transmits the light of the first wavelength is arranged on the optical axis, and which acquires an anterior eye part image of the subjects eye by a second image pick-up device using the light reflected by the optical path branch member.
