The present invention provides for a novel pre-shaped balloon catheter device that can serve the purpose of treating the bifurcation aneurysms through balloon assisted coiling of intracranial bifurcation aneurysms. The balloon catheter device has double ports, one port for inflation and deflation of the balloon and other for either coiling or for navigation. The membrane of balloon is made thicker at both ends and thinner in center (middle part) so at the time of inflation, it inflates like plate. Or rings are applied at either ends of balloon to avoid its inflation at the ends, it inflates only in middle part giving it plate shape. The whole length of balloon along with reservoir which is placed proximally in the balloon port is air tight and pre filled with radio-opaque liquid contrast that can be iodine based. The reservoir can be compressed in a graded manner by clockwise rotation of the piston handle which will force the contrast fluid to displace into the catheter ports which will in turn inflate the balloon. Anticlockwise rotation of piston handle will reverse the flow leading to deflation of the balloon. The balloon has multiple ports to reduce the chances of blockage. Both ends of balloon has radio-opaque markers which can be precisely placed in the neck or across the neck of aneurysm so that after balloon inflation, it inflates horizontally to protect the aneurysm neck and its adjacent vessels.
