Abstract The present invention provides an oral pharmaceutical composition comprising plurality of pellets of dabigatran etexilate or salts thereof and plurality of pellets of organic acid. By providing plurality of pellets of dabigatran etexilate or salts thereof and plurality of pellets of organic acid it is possible to reduce interpatient variability that may occur in some cases such as achlorhydria. The composition may provide therapeutically effective plasma concentration to reduce the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation when administered to a patient in need thereof.
