PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lawn mower equipped at its side with a side discharge port for discharging a clipped lawn, wherein a discharge door for closing the side discharge port is held at a closed position exclusively by a spring force, so it is fluttered by the wind pressure or vibrations which are generated by the rotations of a clipping blade, thereby to eliminate the fluttering of the discharge door.SOLUTION: An exhaust port door 16 is eliminated in fluttering by having a lock device 20 for locking the closed position thereof. The lock device 20 can be prevented from an unnecessary opening operation because it is unlocked by the unlocking operation of a user. The exhaust port door 16 can be easily opened by setting a spring force weak.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】本体ハウジングの側部に刈り取った芝を排出するための側部排出口を備えた芝刈機において、側部排出口を閉じる排出口ドアはばね力のみで閉じ位置に保持される構成であったので、刈刃の回転により発生する風圧や振動等によりばたつくことがある。本発明では、排出口ドアのばたつきをなくすことを目的とする。【解決手段】排出口ドア１６にその閉じ位置をロックするためのロック装置２０を設けてばたつきをなくす。ロック装置２０は使用者のアンロック操作によりアンロックされることから不用意な開放操作を防止できる。ばね力を弱く設定することにより、排出口ドア１６を楽に開放できるようになる。【選択図】図１
