A partial pressure of oxygen (PO2) examination method based on speaking, a wearable electronic device and a computer program product are disclosed, the device comprising: a prompt module, a voice pickup module, an altimeter, an alarm module, a processor, and a memory module. The prompt module issues a first prompt and a second prompt. The voice pickup module receives a first voice and a second voice. The altimeter acquires a sea-level altitude of a user at the highland. The memory module is used to store a plurality of instructions which, when executed by the processor, enable the processor to calculate a highland partial pressure of oxygen, which is then compared with a normal blood pressure range obtained from the sea-level altitude. When the comparison result indicates that the highland partial pressure of oxygen exceeds the normal blood pressure range, the processor triggers the alarm module to issue an alarm.
