The invention relates to automated assistance for aiming a shooting target, for a visually impaired or blind person. A method for this purpose provides: the equipment of a shooting weapon (AR), available to the person, by a camera (CAM) placed on the weapon to film the target (CI) to aim； identification of the target by pattern recognition in images filmed by the camera； the emission of a signal perceived by the person (OR) to guide the person in the orientation of the shooting weapon towards the target.L'invention concerne une assistance automatisée à la visée d'une cible de tir,pour une personne mal voyante ou non voyante.
