Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sauerstofftherapiegerät für eine High-Flow-Sauerstofftherapie.Das Sauerstofftherapiegerät umfasst ein Nasenteil (1), aufweisend einen Gaskanal für ein Patientengas und zwei mit dem Gaskanal in fluidischer Verbindung stehende Nasenkanülen (7) mit je einer Patientengasaustrittsöffnung, eine Gasverteileinrichtung (3) zum Anschluss an eine Patientengasquelle und wenigstens einen Formschlauch (5), aufweisend einen Gaskanal (11), der in eine Gaseintrittsöffnung und eine Gasaustrittsöffnung des Formschlauches (5) mündet, wobei der Formschlauch (5) mit seiner Gasaustrittsöffnung in eine Gaseintrittsöffnung (9) des Nasenteils (1) und mit seiner Gaseintrittsöffnung in eine Gasaustrittsöffnung der Gasverteileinrichtung (3) mündet. Der Formschlauch (5) weist eine Querschnittsform seines Gaskanals (11) auf, die von der Form eines Kreises und einer Ellipse abweicht.
