<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide planting culture soil with high functionality, becoming fully ripe over a short period through the use of water supply sludge, and to provide a method for producing the soil. <；P>；SOLUTION: This method for producing the planting culture soil includes mixing sewage sludge and timber waste by new microorganism Anoxybacillus sp. MS8 strain (Trustee Number FERM P-21818) so as to produce sewage sludge compost, mixing the sewage sludge compost and water supply sludge obtained as sediment in a sedimentation basin of a water supply place so as to produce a middle mixture, and finally re-fermenting the mixture so as to produce the planting culture soil.
