PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing device that allows air to pass through water without using a complicated mechanism.SOLUTION: A deodorizing device 1 comprises: a body provided with a suction port 2 and an air outlet 3 an air duct 4 provided in the body to communicate the suction port 2 with the air outlet 3 air blowing means 6 blowing air into the air duct 4 a rotatable cylindrical deodorizing filter 5 installed so as to block the air duct 4 a drive part 19 rotating the deodorizing filter and a water tank 8 capable of immersing into water a lower part of the deodorizing filter 5 rotated by the drive part 19. The deodorizing filter 5 has a filter medium 7 formed with a water film in a part immersed into the water and is configured to radially doubly arrange filters having different diameters. The drive part 19 rotates one of the filters in the same direction as that of the air duct, and rotates the other in a direction opposite to the air duct 4.
