PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition which is used for oral cavities, can promote the removal of biofilms, and can inhibit the formation of the biofilms.SOLUTION: This composition for the oral cavities contains a sugar alcohol and/or an amino acid. The composition can control the adhesion and coagulation of bacteria and degrade the formed adhesion products and cocoagulated products to inhibit the formation of the biofilms, in a process for forming the biofilms in spaces, such as periodontal pockets, between hard tissues, such as teeth or artificial teeth, and soft tissues, such as tongues or cheeks, and can further change the inner structures of the already matured biofilms to promote the removal of the biofilms.COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI【課題】バイオフィルムの除去を促進し、かつ、バイオフィルムの形成を阻害することが可能な口腔用組成物を提供する。【解決手段】口腔用組成物に糖アルコールおよび/またはアミノ酸を配合することにより、歯や義歯などの硬組織、舌や頬などの軟組織、歯周ポケットなどの硬組織と軟組織の隙間に形成されるバイオフィルムの形成過程において細菌の付着や凝集などを抑制または形成した付着体や共凝集体を分解することによってバイオフィルムの形成を阻害し、かつすでに成熟したバイオフィルムにおいてもバイオフィルム内部構造を変化させることでバイオフィルムの除去を促進することができる。【選択図】 なし
