PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device capable of preventing an image of a living body lumen acquired by an imaging unit from being shadowed in a case where an over-the-wire structure is adopted.SOLUTION: A medical device 8 includes: an imaging core 4 having an imaging unit 41 for acquiring an image of a living body lumen； and a shaft part 2 having a first tube body 61 forming a lumen 25 for an image into which the imaging core 4 is inserted, and a second tube body 62 forming a guide wire lumen 26 into which a guide wire W is inserted, the lumen 25 for an image and the guide wire lumen 26 being formed by a double lumen structure from the tip side to the base end side.
