A device includes a reinforcing member with a cross-section that defines a channel. The channel is configured to reinforce a wound. The device further includes a constraining body attachable to the reinforcing member and the constraining body is configured to constrain a patients stomach. Methods for implanting the device and treating a patient are provided.
