Described herein is a mechanical thrombectomy device for a reversing tractor tube that can be deployed out of the catheter. The devices are delivered out of the catheter from a collapsed delivery configuration in the catheter to an out-of-catheter deployment configuration, the catheter being reinserted between the tubular tractor and the elongated puller. In particular, any of these devices is configured to operate with a tractor tube having an open end biased to open, including the use of an annular bias.
