PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst type air cleaner capable of easily changing a cleaning capacity without enlarging an installation space and reducing the cost of the air cleaner.
SOLUTION: The air cleaner is provides, in a same outer casing body 30, with: air cleaning modules 20, five pieces for example, each of which is constituted by integrating a photocatalyst filter for supporting photocatalyst, a light source for exciting a photocatalyst reaction and an air guide 11 for guiding the air intake to the photocatalyst filter side and passing the air to the photocatalyst filter a power supply-control device 50 used in common for the respective air cleaning modules 20 and an air blowing fan 51.
