PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably defoam in a pickling liquid.SOLUTION: A pickling liquid defoaming device includes: a pickling liquid storage tank 1 a body part 1a of which is formed into a cylindrical shape a side wall cylinder 3 which is inserted into the outside of the body part with space a lid 5 which blocks the projecting end 3a of the side wall cylinder to form a sealed space chamber 7 and vacuum suction means 9 penetrating the lid to communicate with the sealed space chamber. A defoaming chamber 16 is formed by partitioning a space between the body part and the side wall cylinder with an upper partition wall 14 having an outlet and a lower partition wall 12 having an inlet. The inlet corresponds to a slit 20 communicating with a pickle liquid introducing part 18.
