The present invention provides: a plant growth promoter containing a phosphorylated oligosaccharide polyvalent metal salt as an active ingredient; and a plant cultivation method comprising applying a phosphorylated oligosaccharide polyvalent metal salt to plants, preferably spraying the phosphorylated oligosaccharide polyvalent metal salt on plant foliage.
