PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specification method capable of improving specification accuracy of a cow and to provide a specific program, a specification device and a specification system.SOLUTION: In a specification method, a processing is executed by a computer, for collating first data based on a specific region of a first imaged image of the side face of a cow with second data based on the specific region of a second imaged image of the side face of the cow stored in a storage part. In the specification method, a processing for specifying the cow in the first imaged image is executed by the computer in response to the collation result.
