PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a backup system for an existing oxygen concentrator.SOLUTION: A backup system 1 of an oxygen concentrator is a system connected to a supply port 28 in an oxygen concentrator 10 provided with the supply port 28 for supplying a concentrated oxygen. The backup system 1 includes: a main flow path 12 for connecting from the supply port 28 to a patient's respiratory tract； a backup flow path 13 for connecting from an oxygen cylinder 11 for backing up the oxygen concentrator 10 to a branching point provided at the patient's side rather than a concentrator side check valve 29 in the main flow path 12； and state switching means 14 for switching between a normal state of closing the backup flow path 13 and a backup state of opening the backup flow path 13.【課題】既存の酸素濃縮器に対してバックアップシステムを構築する。【解決手段】酸素濃縮器のバックアップシステム１は、高濃度の酸素を供給する供給口２８が設けられた酸素濃縮器１０における当該供給口２８に接続されるシステムである。このバックアップシステム１は、供給口２８から患者の気道までを繋ぐメイン流路１２と、酸素濃縮器１０をバックアップする酸素ボンベ１１から、メイン流路１２における濃縮器側逆止弁２９よりも患者側に設けられた分岐点までを繋ぐバックアップ流路１３と、このバックアップ流路１３を閉じている正常状態、及び、バックアップ流路１３を開いているバックアップ状態、を切り替える状態切替え手段１４と、を備えている。【選択図】図３
