The present invention relates to a tool holder (1) and the grinding or kneading device. Said tool holder (1) consists of a body (2) provided in front wall of a tool (4) having an active face (5) oriented in a first direction transverse to said body. It is characterized in that it comprises at said front wall at least one additional active face (16) oriented in a direction orthogonal to said first direction and extending in a plane parallel to said active face (5), said additional active surface still extending at least partly protruding from at least one side edge of said body (2). This additional active part (16) can be integrated within a plate (18) removable relative to the tool holder (1). Such a tool holder (1) is positioned on each side of the drum of said device, with said additional active surface (16) projecting. Cette partie active supplémentaire (16) peut être intégrée au sein d'une plaquette (18) amovible par rapport au porte-outil (1). Un tel porte-outil (1) est positionné de chaque côté du tambour dudit dispositif, avec ladite face active supplémentaire (16) en saillie.
