PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic giving thickness between hair and fingers to impart excellent application feelings (richness) when applied to the hair, causing no stickiness after drying, giving firmness, stiffness and moisture (wetness) to the hair, and exhibiting excellent combability and hair setting properties.SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic includes: (A) 0.1-3 mass% of a silicone or silicone derivative with an average polymerization degree of 1,000-5,000 (B) 0.3-5 mass% of a quaternary ammonium salt represented by following general formula 1 (C) 1-10 mass% of a 14-22C straight-chain alcohol and (D) 0.3-3 mass% of hydrogenated jojoba oil with a melting point of 40-60°C. A content of the component (C) is not less than a content of the component (B) and a content of the component (D).
