PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small animal breeding device capable of creating a model animal suitable for research related to a chronic stressful sleep disorder.SOLUTION: A small animal breeding device includes a running wheel 14 having: a turning wheel 22 having one end face closed by a closing plate 24 and a support member journaling the turning wheel 22 sideways. The turning wheel 22 turns by walking of a small animal inside the turning wheel 22 on a peripheral face 28. The small animal breeding device includes a cage 16 that is a housing set with the running wheel 14 thereinside and has a closing face 34 closing the other end part of the turning wheel 22. A feed window 40 and a water window 42 through which the small animal cannot pass are opened in the closing face 34. The small animal breeding device includes a feeder 18 having a feed storage part 50 and a feeding port 52. The small animal breeding device includes a waterer 20 having a water storage part 58 and a nozzle 60.
