The present invention relates to novel active compound combinationscomprising, as activecompounds, firstly an active compound from the group of the neonicotinoidsclothianidin,imidacloprid, thiacloprid, dinotefuran, acetamiprid, nitenpyram andthiamethoxam and, secondly,at least one active compound selected from the group of the strobilurinfungicides picoxystrobin,pyraclostrobin, dimoxystrobin, metominostrobin and orysastrobin, to their useas pesticides and asseed dressings for the treatment of seed, to methods for controlling pests andfor protecting seedand to seed treated with the active compound combinations according to theinvention.
