[Problem] To provide an ink that is an inkjet ink suitable for applying marking to a surface of an edible object such as a tablet, a capsule, or a food, that is excellent in ejectability of ink droplets from a nozzle of an inkjet printer, that does not cause printing blur upon a material on which printing is to be performed, that can be continuously ejected, and that has desirable resistance to light and desirable fixability to the material on which the printing is to be performed. [Solution] The ink according to the present invention contains at least (i) a coloring material, (ii) a dispersion medium, and (iii) a water soluble polymer having a viscosity-average molecular weight of 1,000-220,000, and the ink is characterized in that the coloring material is an activated carbon.L'invention fournit une encre qui consiste en une encre pour jet d'encre adaptée à l'exécution d'un marquage à la surface d'un objet comestible tel qu'un comprimé, une capsule, un aliment, ou similaire, qui est excellente en termes de propriétés de décharge de gouttes d'encre depuis une buse d'une imprimante à jet d'encre, qui ne présente pas de flou après impression sur un objet à imprimer, qui permet une décharge en continu, et qui est dotée de propriétés de fixation satisfaisantes sur l'objet à imprimer ainsi que d'une résistance à la lumière.
