A method and a system for automatic parameter setting for a portable ultrasound system comprise the steps of: accumulating ultrasound images as big data in a server classifying the accumulated ultrasound image by using machine learning and finding an optimal setting value recognizing the classification closest to the currently imaged ultrasound image diagnosis and finding an optimal setting value using machine learning and setting the ultrasound device based on the recognized classification and the optimal setting value.
