PURPOSE: A fastening apparatus for carrying a coffin is provided to enhance the use convenience and safety since the coffin can be easily carried using a handle. CONSTITUTION: A fastening apparatus for carrying a coffin comprises a longitudinal fastening unit(160), a transverse fastening unit(300) and a handle(200). The longitudinal fastening unit comprises an inserting part and a loop. The inserting part is formed on the longitudinal surface of a coffin and comprises 3~5 inserting protrusions and a binding unit. For the loop, a transversal cylindrical connecting string can be inserted into both sides of a longitudinal band, which is connected to the binding unit of the inserting part.
