PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod support device that can change the number of fishing rods to be held, as needed.SOLUTION: A fishing rod support device (10) can vertically hold rod tubes (16, 16 and 16) allowing insertion of fishing rods (41, 41 and 43) and is detachably provided with an auxiliary unit (20) for increasing the number of fishing rods to be held. The auxiliary unit (20) comprises: an extra fixture (21) that is fixed to the rod tube (16) a lower extra fixture (30) and rod tube coupling tools (25 and 26) that can fix rod tubes (18 and 19) other than the rod tube (16) of the fishing rod support device (10). The rod tube coupling tools (25 and 26) are fixed rotatably to the extra fixture (21). The lower extra fixture (30) comprises: a lower fixture (31) that is fixed to a lower part of the rod tube (16) and tube support tools (35 and 37) that support the rod tubes (18 and 19) to be fixed through the rod tube coupling tools (25 and 26).
