PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter in which a reinforcement body is arranged in a shaft capable of effectively preventing the reinforcement body from breaking through the shaft.SOLUTION: A catheter 10 has a reinforcement body 18 arranged in a tip shaft 24 and a base end shaft 26. The reinforcement body 18 includes a body part 32 extending over the tip shaft 24 and the base end shaft 26, and an enlarged tip part 34 provided at the tip 32a of the body part 32 which is arranged between the tip shaft 24 and an inner tube 16.
