PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the generation of an electric shock caused by a users touch with a column plate without using an expensive capacitor and a high resistance resistor whose electric resistance is reduced by dew condensation water, and to maintain the vicinity of the column plate at a uniform AC electric field while securing extremely-high safety.SOLUTION: A refrigerator-freezer includes an electrode 2 for generating an AC electric field in the refrigerator-freezer and an AC power supply 3 connected to the electrode 2 and maintains the inside of the refrigerator-freezer at the AC electric field by applying an AC voltage supplied from the AC power supply 3 to the electrode 2.
