The present invention relates to an intense pulsed light (IPL) irradiation apparatus. More specifically, the present invention relates to an IPL irradiation apparatus including a trapezoid shape light guide, capable of increasing irradiation energy into a target by transmitting more effectively light, which is emitted from a flash lamp, to the target using the trapezoid light guide. According to the present invention, the IPL irradiation apparatus to irradiate light having a predetermined wavelength to an irradiation portion of the target includes a flash lamp, a first light guide, a second light guide, and a filter. The flash lamp emits light having a first predetermined wavelength. The first light guide emits the light having the first wavelength band incident from the flash lamp toward a second light guide. The second light guide emits light incident from the first light guide toward the target. The filter filters the light having the first wavelength band to emit the light having the second wavelength band.
