Disclosed is a resin particle having convex portions on the surface thereof, which is of a substantially spherical shape, has a particle diameter of 10 to 500 µm, and has a plurality of convex portions capable of diffusely reflecting light when the entire surface thereof is irradiated with light, wherein the number of the plurality of convex portions present on the outer circumference of the resin particle measured from the projection of a photograph taken per resin particle is 8 or more and the average height of the plurality of convex portions present on the outer circumference is 2 to 10% of the particle diameter.
