PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image display apparatus which can display a medical image as the same image as medical images obtained from other medical image display apparatuses.SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a first LUT conversion processing section 62-1 to perform conversion processing according to a first conversion function, and a second LUT conversion processing section 62-2 to perform conversion processing according to a second conversion function which is used for conversion of the second medical image displayed in the other medical image display apparatus into the data of the brightness information. The display image forming section 63 selects the data converted from the first medical image data among the data DB1 of brightness information provided with the first LUT conversion processing section 62-1, and selects the converted data out of data of the second medical image among data DB1 of brightness information provided with the second LUT conversion processing section 62-2.
