PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of providing an ultrasonic image based on tertiary waves by extracting the tertiary waves while removing basic waves in reflected waves from a subject to be tested.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: a piezoelectric part for receiving and converting reflected ultrasonic waves to electric signals, the reflected ultrasonic waves generated from the ultrasonic waves transmitted to and reflected from the subject to be tested a harmonics extracting part and an image processing part. The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus prepares a first reflected wave being the electric signal converted by the piezoelectric part from the reflected ultrasonic wave corresponding to the single transmission of the ultrasonic wave, and having phase changed by delay means, and a second reflected wave being the electric signal converted by the piezoelectric part from the reflected ultrasonic wave corresponding to the single transmission of the ultrasonic wave, and having a phase changed by delay means for providing identical phase change regardless of its degree.
