A pectus bar stabilizer insertion tool can include a first handle, a second handle, a first head, a second head, and a locking shaft. The first handle can include a first distal portion. The second handle can include a second distal portion, and the second handle can be pivotably coupled to the first handle. The first and second handles can be moveable between an open position and a closed position. The first head can be coupled to the first distal portion and can be engageable with a first portion of a stabilizer. The first head can include a driver engageable with a lock of the stabilizer. The second head can be coupled to the second distal portion and can be engageable with a second portion of the stabilizer.
