PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of varyingly providing scan condition parameters.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes a transmission and a reception unit, an addition unit, an image generation unit and a control unit. The transmission and reception unit performs ultrasonic transmission/reception where phase polarity is repeatedly inverted on the same scan line in accordance with the number of times set as a scan condition parameter, a plurality of times, on the same scan line. The addition unit adds reflection wave data received as a result of the ultrasonic transmission/reception. The image generation part generates images using the added reflection wave data.
