PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood filter device which can be easily manufactured and can realize a sure priming operation, and its manufacturing method.SOLUTION: The blood filter device includes: an upper lid body having a blood inlet and an air outlet a lower lid body having a blood outlet and tightly joined with the upper lid body and a filter housed between the lid bodies. The blood filter device includes the filter 103 formed in a bellows shape whose outer shape is a rectangular parallelepiped with a uniform height, and spacers which are applied respectively to upper and lower parts of the bellows and provided with a plurality of pawls formed to be inserted respectively between ridge lines so that the filter 103 may not be brought into contact with each other.
