To provide a riding type rice transplanting machine that is provided with a rotary leveling device for leveling the irregularities of a paddy field.SOLUTION: A drive system of a traveling vehicle body employs: a pair of left and right front wheels 5 having a small diameter； and a pair of left and right crawler devices 6 having a strong traction force and being highly applicable to deep and ill-drained paddy fields in the rearward. Then, a side view shape of the crawler of the crawler device is made into a shape of lengthwise four sides to thereby create a large space in the rear side of the crawler. Also, a leveling device 57 is provided in a wide space between the crawler and a side float 56.
