PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing mesodermal progenitor cells from pluripotent stem cells and a method for producing blood vessel progenitor cells from mesodermal progenitor cells.SOLUTION: The method of the present invention can produce mesodermal progenitor cells by subjecting pluripotent stem cells to adhesion culture in a culture medium containing BMP, VEGF, and GSK-3β inhibitors on a culture device coated with laminin 511 or a fragment thereof. Blood vessel progenitor cells can be produced by further subjecting the mesodermal progenitor cells produced by such a method to adhesion culture in a culture medium containing VEGF, SCF, bFGF, and TGF-β inhibitors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
